Abuse of memberships,
such as password trading, the use of downloading software (eg:-
Gozilla, Teleport Pro ect) or any other form of excessive
downloading may incur additional charges to your membership and
may result in your membership being blocked with no refund.
Excessive downloading is based on the amount of content available
on the site compared to how much is downloaded. Currently the site
is approx 10gb in size, that is all three quality versions of
every video, photo, image and html page on the site. Downloading
above that is considered needless and excessive. Once you have
downloaded 10gb from the site you have downloaded everything. Most
members do not download anywhere near 10gb during the duration of
their membership, the only time it is exceeded is when membership
abuse occurs.
Membership abuse fees are based on the amount of bandwidth used
minus the size of the site times $3 per gb. (eg. used 25gb - 10gb
x $3 per gb = $45)
Fees for membership abuse will be based on case by case and
generally will not occur unless the 10bg threshold is reach within
the first few days of the membership.
The reasons behind this policy are simple, it costs me needles
money when a membership is abused, it also affects other members
when excessive downloading occurs from things such as downloading
software, causing their downloading to be affected.
