My boyfriend and I
took off for a couple of weeks to Brisbane to see if we could rustle
up some new guys for the site. We placed an add in the local paper
and got ourselves a hotel in which to conduct our interviews from.
Things where a bit slow at first, and I have to say, disappointing. But
then, I got this call from a guy who sounded really cute, and very
interested, Malachi.
I have to say when I first opened the door and Malachi was
standing there I was more than impressed. This cute spiky haired, pierced
eyebrow guy wearing pretty much what he was filmed in, a white
singlet and a pair of loose fit jeans, the type of cute guy you
might see on the streets hanging out with his mates. Very cute and
also very friendly.
During the interview, which pretty much consists of nothing more
than a few basic questions and a short reference shoot I got the
impression that Malachi was keen to get a shoot on the way, I know
I was. There was also something about him that gave me the
impression that he knew what he wanted, and knew exactly why he
wanted to do a shoot. I like guys like this as you know they are a
sure thing, will put an effort into the shoot and are not just
there to fuck you around (you get that allot in this industry). He
doesn't disappoint.
There and then I booked him in for a shoot that night. A few hours
later we took off and picked him up from his unit, (I got lost by
the way) and found ourselves a nice cheep hotel to do the shoot.
I was especially keen to do this shoot, apart from the fact that
filming is my favourite part of this industry, we had just
purchased a new video camera and I was keen to give it a run. The
good thing is now we have two decent cameras to shoot with,
allowing us to get two angles of the same footage. I have only
used footage from the old camera a couple of times in this shoot,
but you will notice the improvement of the new camera over the
old, much better sound and a clearer, brighter picture. You should
she footage now and then in the future from two different angles
as I explore the possibilities of using two cameras. Hope you
enjoy.
Malachi - 20yr guy studying to become a personal trainer.
Formally from country NSW (you can hear it in his accent) he had
only just recently moved to the city to peruse his career. Malachi
certainly doesn't disappoint in his shoot, with him
presenting a new surprises around every corner, look out
especially at the end of his shoot, it is something I certainly
wasn't expecting. |
