Jay is a 25 year old unemployed guy from Coolangatta who doesn't mind doing a bit of surfing now and then.
Jay's car was parked next to mine at a beach car park not far from the hotel where I filmed Paul. He was throwing his board in the back of his 84 Holden Ute when I got chatting with him about his car ( I also drive a Ute). I asked if he would be interested in heading to the pub and throwing back a couple of beers.
When I asked him if he would be interested in doing this, he thought about it for a sec and said, "yeah sure, could do with the extra cash"
